Recording comes first. The smart extras come second.
Your cameras should keep recording even if Home Assistant is restarting or the internet is down. So recording stays on the camera, a Reolink Home Hub or an NVR, and we bring selected live views and alerts into Home Assistant.
It keeps things simple, and your security footage never depends on a single smart-home box.
Good coverage starts on the floor plan
The best time to settle camera spots is before the ceilings close and the exterior is finished. Viewing angle, mounting height, lens, night lighting, cable routes and reaching the camera later all play a part.
Already moved in? We’ll find practical cable routes or wireless options, and we’ll be upfront about where they differ from a pre-wired setup.
Home Assistant makes the footage more useful
Supported Reolink alerts can show up on your dashboard, your phone and in simple routines. Someone at the gate might bring up that camera or switch on the outside light, while the cameras carry on recording as usual.
We check those features against your exact camera and recorder before we recommend them.

Do you install Reolink CCTV in Singapore homes?+
Yes. We plan and connect Reolink cameras as part of a wider smart-home project, covering cabling, local recording, your network and the Home Assistant features your cameras support.
Does Home Assistant store the CCTV recordings?+
Not in the way we usually set things up. The camera, Home Hub or NVR does the recording. Home Assistant adds live views, alerts and automations on top.
Can the cameras work if the internet is down?+
Usually, yes. Local cameras and recorders keep recording as long as your home network and power stay on. Remote viewing and cloud features may pause until the internet is back.
Can you add cameras after renovation?+
Often, yes. We check cable routes, power, wireless signal and where cameras can sensibly go, then tell you honestly how it compares with a fully pre-wired setup.
