This service may be right for you if…
- ✓Automations fail unpredictably or devices regularly disappear
- ✓The installer is no longer reachable
- ✓A cloud app, hub or account is being retired
- ✓You bought a home with an undocumented smart system
Diagnose first, reset later
Randomly resetting devices can erase useful clues and make administrator access harder to recover. We start with the symptoms, network and accounts, then change one thing at a time.
The recommendation may be a small network correction, a hub replacement, a phased migration or a return to conventional control in parts of the home. Saving a workable system is often better than rebuilding for the sake of a clean proposal.
Leave with the accounts and information you need
The main accounts, recovery methods and documentation belong with the homeowner. Any Smarter access is agreed and removable. We identify the backups and leave enough information for another technician to understand the system later.
From the first conversation to a finished, working system.
Understand the problem
We separate urgent household problems from issues that can wait.
Find the cause
We check the accounts, network, hubs, devices and automations in a sensible order.
Restore the basics
We get reliable everyday control working before suggesting larger changes.
Hand it back clearly
You receive the administrator access, backups and updated system records.
We begin with a paid diagnostic. Once we understand the system and know what can be saved, we explain the options and quote for the repair or takeover work.
Questions homeowners often ask.
01Can you fix a smart home installed by someone else?+
Usually, yes. We first need safe administrator access and enough information to understand the system. We diagnose the problem before promising a repair because undocumented installations can vary widely.
02Do I have to replace all my Tuya or proprietary devices?+
No. We keep reliable devices that still suit the home. Any migration can be phased around failed products, renovation timing and budget.
03Can you recover a system when the original installer account is gone?+
Sometimes. Recovery depends on the platform, account ownership, local access and whether devices can be reset and recommissioned. We will explain the limits before destructive steps are taken.
04What should I prepare for a diagnostic visit?+
Gather app names, account emails, hub locations, network details, old quotations and any drawings or handover notes. Do not factory-reset devices immediately before the visit.
