Network foundation

A home network you can depend on.

We plan Wi-Fi, cabling, access points and equipment locations so the smart home works reliably throughout the property.

What you can expect

Good coverage in the places that need it, accessible equipment and a network another technician can understand.

The scope

What we take care of.

We’ll agree the details for your home before work starts. A typical project covers the following.

Floor-plan, equipment and coverage review

Router, switch and access-point plan

Wired backhaul and PoE requirements

Controller, hub and radio placement

Separate smart-device networks where useful

Rack, cabinet, cooling and power notes

Final network records and administrator access

Is this for you?

When we can help.

01

A strong signal on your phone is only part of the story

A phone can show a strong signal while a low-powered sensor behind metal, glass or concrete struggles to stay connected. Devices may also reach the internet but still fail to find one another locally.

We plan Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Zigbee and Thread together while allowing for the different coverage and equipment each one needs.

02

Add the right cabling while the walls are open

A renovation is the economical moment to bring data and suitable power to ceiling access points, cameras, intercoms, controller positions and the main equipment area. Wired backhaul keeps access points from spending radio capacity talking to one another and gives fixed equipment a predictable connection.

A spare conduit or accessible cable route is often more valuable than buying the most expensive router at handover.

  • Ceiling data points positioned for coverage rather than visual symmetry alone
  • PoE capacity checked against the actual camera and access-point load
  • Ventilation, labeled power and safe recovery access at the equipment location
  • A documented port map and ownership of administrator credentials
03

Keep separate networks practical

Putting smart devices on a separate network can improve security, but an overly complicated setup can stop products from finding one another and make faults much harder to diagnose. We keep the rules as simple as the home allows.

At handover, you receive the administrator access and useful network details instead of a diagram nobody can maintain.

How it works

From your first enquiry to handover.

01

Understand the property

We review the plans, construction, devices, cameras and future equipment.

02

Plan the network

We choose the cabling, access-point locations, equipment space and power requirements.

03

Coordinate the work

The electrician, cabling team, ID and system suppliers receive clear instructions.

04

Test the finished network

We check coverage, roaming and local device communication after installation.

Quoted from the plans and site conditions

A quote based on the work your home needs.

We quote from the property plans, construction, device count and existing cabling. Hardware, cabling and professional services are shown clearly rather than hidden inside one package.

How Smarter pricing works
Good to know

Your questions, answered.

Do you install Wi-Fi for smart homes in Singapore?

Yes. We can design and coordinate the network as part of a smart-home project, including wired cabling, access points, equipment locations and final testing.

How many access points does a landed home need?

There is no reliable floor-area formula. Construction, layout, mounting positions, outdoor areas and client demand determine the design, which should then be verified after installation.

Should smart-home devices use a separate network?

Often, but the setup still has to let the right products communicate locally. We use the simplest arrangement that gives the home the security and reliability it needs.

Is Zigbee coverage the same as Wi-Fi coverage?

No. Zigbee is a separate low-power mesh with its own coordinator and routing devices. A strong Wi-Fi network does not automatically provide a strong Zigbee mesh.
