Brands we integrate · Singapore

Five brands we know well—and how to make them work together.

We do not choose products from a compatibility list. We look at what each device needs to do, how you will control it every day and how it should connect to Home Assistant.

How we choose

Connecting is only the first test.

A device can pair successfully and still be a poor fit for the room. We also look at everyday controls, local operation, the features you actually get and how easy the product will be to support later.

01

It earns its place

The product should solve a real lighting, comfort, security or access problem—not just add another gadget.

02

You know how it works

We explain whether it connects directly, through a hub or through the cloud, including what happens if one part goes offline.

03

It can be looked after

We keep the model numbers, firmware details, accounts and gateway information with your project records.

Brands we work with

Different strengths for different parts of the home.

No manufacturer makes the best answer to every problem, and not every model from a good brand works in the same way. We confirm the exact product before it is ordered.

01Lighting, sensing and access

Aqara

Aqara is one of the most useful smart-home ranges for Singapore homes. The important part is choosing the right model and the right way to connect it before anything is ordered.

  • Wall switches and wireless scene controls
  • Door, motion, environmental and presence sensing
  • Selected locks, curtain controllers and relays

02Architectural and decorative lighting

Yeelight

Yeelight is a strong choice for tunable and decorative lighting, especially on models with local LAN control. The range uses several different connection methods, so the model number matters.

  • Tunable-white and colour accent lighting
  • Ceiling, pendant and bedside lighting where the model fits
  • Scenes coordinated with switches, presence and time of day

03Cameras and local recording

Reolink

Reolink has one of the best official camera integrations for Home Assistant. Wired, Wi-Fi and battery models offer different features, however, so they cannot be treated as interchangeable.

  • Local NVR or on-device recording
  • Doorbell, person, vehicle and selected smart-detection events
  • Camera views and event-driven Home Assistant automations

04Retrofit controls and sensors

SwitchBot

SwitchBot is especially useful in completed homes, rentals and other places where a reversible retrofit makes sense. We use it selectively rather than treating it as the answer to every switch, curtain or appliance.

  • Curtain and blind retrofits where the existing hardware is suitable
  • Button-pushing or relay tasks that are impractical to rewire
  • Bluetooth sensors and selected access devices

05Curtains, blinds and shades

Dooya

Dooya has a wide enough range for professional curtain and blind projects, but “Dooya Pro” is not a complete specification. We need the motor, control type, gateway and position-feedback details before ordering.

  • Purpose-built curtain tracks in new renovations
  • Roller blinds, shades and selected specialty window treatments
  • Grouped and scheduled solar-control automations

A considered shortlist

We will not call every product compatible just because it can be paired.

We feature products when we understand how they fit into a home, what they depend on and how to recover them when something goes wrong. Project hardware is quoted through PFE; homeowners buying Aqara products directly can continue to use HomeSmart.
