It shines when you want several brands working together, prefer things to run locally, or want automations no single app can manage. If a small Apple Home, Google Home or Aqara setup already does everything you need, keeping it simple may be the better call.
We’ll only suggest Home Assistant when it will genuinely make your home better, not just because it can connect more gadgets.

Before any big update, we read the release notes, check what might break and take a fresh backup.
You get the administrator account, backups and recovery details. If we keep access for support, that’s agreed with you, and you can remove it whenever you like.
