This service may be right for you if…
- ✓The home depends on Home Assistant or several integrations
- ✓Nobody in the household wants to be the permanent administrator
- ✓The property is rented, managed or occupied by a busy family
- ✓You want dependable support instead of starting from scratch whenever something breaks
Maintenance does not mean installing every update immediately
A well-maintained system does not need the newest release every week. We check whether an update is useful and compatible, make a fresh backup and apply it at a sensible time.
We also take care of the unglamorous work: batteries, expiring certificates, ageing integrations, network changes and keeping the records current when devices are replaced.
We can also take over a system installed by someone else
We begin by reviewing the existing setup. If passwords, backups or documentation are missing, we may need to stabilise and document the system before starting ongoing care.
From the first conversation to a finished, working system.
Get to know the system
We record how it is set up, what needs attention and whether the backups are working.
Agree a care schedule
We plan checks and updates around the household.
Keep it healthy
We record routine work and handle important changes carefully.
Help when something breaks
You already know who to contact and what support is included.
We quote after reviewing the system and discussing how quickly you need help, what can be handled remotely and when on-site support should be included.
Questions homeowners often ask.
01What does smart home maintenance include?+
It can include backup checks, careful updates, device and integration checks, remote diagnosis, updated records and agreed on-site support.
02Can you maintain a system you did not install?+
Usually. We first review the accounts, access, backups, system design and any safety concerns. Serious problems may need to be fixed before ongoing support begins.
03Do I need a care plan for a simple Aqara or Apple Home setup?+
Probably not. Care plans are intended for larger or more integrated homes where downtime, undocumented changes or specialist response have a meaningful cost.
04How is ongoing support quoted?+
After reviewing the current system. The quotation explains how often we will check it, how quickly we respond and what remote and on-site help is included.
