The Aqara M2 Hub helps make your home smarter, even if your appliances are not. With its 360° infrared (IR) emitter, the Aqara M2 Hub can send remote control commands to your home appliances – setting temperatures, fan speeds, or turning them on and off.
Setting up is a breeze. With Aqara’s database of 12 product categories, and over 50,000 products, configuring your appliance takes only a few simple taps.
And it’s not just air-conditioners and fans. Any appliance using an IR remote control can now be added into your smart home. This includes TVs, set-top boxes, air purifiers, and speaker systems.
- As IR beams cannot pass through walls, an Aqara M2 Hub can only control the appliances in the same room. Maximum range of 10m.

Smart Doorbell
Aqara Wireless Mini Switch + Aqara M2 Hub
Put the wireless mini switch outside your door, and configure the Aqara M2 Hub to chime ding-dong when it’s pressed. Not smart enough? Get phone notifications too, even when you’re not home.
Want a silent doorbell? Disable the ding-dong chime, and only enable phone notifications.
Security System

Set up an Away mode as a security profile. Configure it so that when you arm your system into Away mode, someone opening your door will trigger an alarm on all the hubs in your home. You’ll also get a phone notification.

Aqara Water Leak Sensor or Smoke Sensor + Aqara M2 Hub
Place a water leak sensor at leak-prone areas such as under sinks or near washing machines. If water is detected, your M2 can ring an alarm, and send a notification to your phone.
Works the same way for smoke sensors, too.
